Project Smilez is started by Vinnie Koh Yan Ying , Fathima Ifraanah B Mohd Sharim , Goh Li Ting and Chen Fan since we participated in Youth of causes 2009.
We want to raise funds for our NPO, Asian Women's Welfare Association, and at the same time, to highlight AWWA’s cause to the public. We plan to organize sales events in Naval Base Secondary School (NBSS) and to schools in the northern sector. Sales items will include homemade sock puppets (by students from NBSS). We also plan to seek sponsors from industries to provide fashion apparels for sales at these sales events.
Our hard works!! This was taken on Thursday when all of us actually stayed back in school and did the ice-cream stick pencil holder all by our own :) From all these hard works , quite a number of teachers was touched and they decided to buy from us :D
We went to visit AWWA with our mentor and we met Patricia too. She's the Rep from AWWA.
We had came to a decision to do door to door sales . We will be selling customized hand phone keychains . We need volunteers , Cip hours will be awarded for hardwork :D
Dear supporters , we had a meeting just now in the school with our teacher in-charge. We discussed about the dates when we will be having sales event . We are working very hard to gain your support. We also decided to accept pre-orders for Accessories and Puppets. As we go along , we will upload photo's of our Accessories and Puppets. Stay tune alright! :D
